The wildebeest migration season (July to October) is Kenya's busiest safari period. Most migration safari guests fly into Nairobi and connect to the Masai Mara via Wilson Airport. Karen Plains Hotel is 20 minutes from Wilson and provides the ideal Nairobi night before your migration safari.

The Night Before Your Migration Safari

An early morning Wilson Airport departure for the Masai Mara means a 4:00 to 5:00am hotel departure. Staying in Karen, close to Wilson, in a quiet hotel where you can sleep properly, is a significantly better experience than staying in Westlands or the CBD and making a longer pre-dawn journey to the terminal.

We arrange hotel pickup for Wilson Airport from 4:00am. We provide early breakfast or a packed breakfast for very early departures.
