The Migration Calendar

The Kenya crossing season is broadly July to October. The dramatic Mara River crossings typically occur between late July and early October. August and September are peak crossing months. Staying in the Mara for at least 3 nights significantly increases the probability of witnessing a river crossing.

Getting to the Masai Mara for Migration
